Satellite Media approached Rawstorne Studio to design the set for their TVNZ commissioned show 'The Year That Was'. The show focused on the comedian's 'lost' years - a time vortex idea was hatched.
By suspending many CNC cut shapes we were able to create a 3D spiral shape that became a 2D 'flat' image when viewed from a datum point in the theatre.
