SPLORE is a biennial outdoor summer festival devoted to music, art, culture and community. Rawstorne studio collaborated with the SPLORE team between 2008 and 2014.
As Creative Director for the Living Lounge in 2008 and 2010, we developed the theme and show for the "alternative" performance venue. In 2012 the studio worked with the SPLORE team to develop the overall site design. The festival highlight of the year was the DJ stage which worked with 3D video mapping, continuing our collaboration with content creators Perceptual Engineering and theDub Mobile. SPLORE 2014 was held over the weekend of 14th February, so it seemed only right that the theme be 'LOVE' . Rawstorne studio was commissioned to design and install the 'LOVE Shack' - which was sponsored by Old Mout Cider, and became the focal point for some grooving and drinking under the full moon with the added help of the LOVE DJ booth. A good time was had by all.
